The skirted jig makes your soft lure even more tempting when fishing for perch, zander, pike and co.
The Skirted Jig shows its advantages even when the lure is just lying on the bottom. The slightest turbulence in the water sets the jig’s fringes in motion and makes even slow-action lures even more tempting. The increased water resistance caused by the fringes also ensures a prolonged sinking phase, in which micro-vibrations and light reflections are created that further increase the catchability of the lure.
Our skirted jig is a real price-performance hit with a number of advantages over all other rubber jigs available on the market.
To protect you from snags, the Skirted Jig is equipped with a weedguard. We have deliberately chosen these bristles to be rather soft so that your hook is protected from weed and branches, but you still have no problems with the bite yield. When you bite, the bristles are pushed away and the hook point can penetrate the fish’s mouth. This is not the case with most US or Japanese rubber jigs, as these lures are made for fishing for black bass and have too stiff weedguards. With these models from competitors, the weedguard has to be trimmed or even removed completely. Such problems are now finally a thing of the past.
Our skirted jigs are equipped with extremely sharp and very sturdy hooks from Mustad. They are therefore also very suitable for cover fishing (when there is weed or sunken trees in the water). You can take the fish hard during the fight without having to worry about a bent hook. The dark colour of the hook is also very inconspicuous.
There is a small barb made of metal wire on the hook shank. It ensures that all soft baits are held securely on the hook, but do not burst open under any circumstances. This means you can change your soft bait more often without destroying it.
The various available colours of the skirt allow you to react to different water turbidity and light conditions. You can choose a skirt colour that goes well with your soft bait. Of course, you can also deliberately create a contrast to the trailer with your skirted jig and create a strike point, so to speak. The rubber fringes are extremely durable and stretchy. Thanks to the durable attachment, they will not be damaged or even torn off even with heavy bites and numerous drills.
Due to the special tapered stand-up shape of the jig head, our skirted jig glides wonderfully through branches and still remains on the bottom after sinking. This ensures that you get fewer snags and your bait can be sucked in better by the biting fish. Due to the slightly round underside, this rubber jig rocks a little on the bottom, which in combination with the fringes makes it even more attractive. The coating on the head is very robust and does not flake off immediately. As a result, it retains its inconspicuous colour for a very long time.
