Along with the Pro-Cat, the Pro-Cat soft can be described as the most universal adjustable rod in our range. As the name suggests, the action is a bit softer than the normal Pro-Cat. The Pro-Cat soft is our first choice when it comes to an all-round seated catfish rod, especially if you are not constantly rigging at distances of more than 200 metres. The action is incredibly fun to play with, even with catfish under 1.50 meters in length. You can still get the line out of the water up to a distance of about 200 meters when unbuckling, if necessary.

The blank of the Pro-Cat soft has been in our „drawer“ since 2015. Every time we’ve shown it to other experienced catfish anglers, they’ve raved about it. Now that all of our rods are firmly established in the market, we are finally launching the softer version of the „Ur-Pro-Cat“. In the test phase, our team was already able to outsmart a number of big fish with it.

As with our other catfish rods, the blank technology is of course state-of-the-art. Simply repainting and making a follow-up variant out of it is not our thing. We prefer to remain honest and of course also true to our design and thus to all fans of our brand. After all, we at Zeck Fishing were the first to establish the Camou handle in the catfish sector … and in the meantime, unfortunately, many of our unimaginative competitors have copied it.
