You can use the Ground Weight Ball as a weight for your rig when angling.

We have deliberately decided against lead for these weights for the sake of the environment and also for reasons of better value for money. The density of this steel alloy is only approx. 10% lower than lead, which is why there is hardly any noticeable difference in size. The coating means you don’t have to worry about rust. The robust eyelet is made of aluminium and is firmly anchored in the body.

Our team has been using Ground Weight Balls or samples of them since mid-2023 and is extremely satisfied with them.

The best way to connect the ground weight to your rig is with an uplift boom or a lead boom (see accessories below).

As well as being used as a ground weight, you can also use the ground weight ball in conjunction with our fireball clip (see accessories below) as a fireball for vertical fishing.

The Ground Weight Ball quickly absorbs the scent of water or attractants and retains it for a very long time. The robust outer skin also reliably shields the material.
This virtually neutralises the metal in the water for the catfish.
