The new J-Braid Expedition is the latest addition to the popular J-Braid series.

The Expedition is also made from high-quality Japanese Izanas fibres and has a much tighter braid than most other lines on the market – making the braid even rounder and more uniform. In addition to the quality of the raw fibre, the tightness of the braid is probably the most important criterion for producing a high-quality braided line.

DAIWA’s innovative silicone „Coating PE“ technology ensures an extremely smooth and soft surface with a silicone coating, which offers less water resistance and therefore greater sensitivity. The Expedition does not absorb water and particles – one of the main reasons for deteriorating performance and fading of the line – and thus offers a significantly higher knot strength and longer life in continuous use.
